Stories go into our minds very easily, and they stick. Much of our thinking is done in story form. I’ve listened several times to the story of a busboy at a nice restaurant. He got to know a group of patrons who often came for lunch; they all worked together at a real estate agency; they dressed very well and had nice cars. They were always happy. And what they were doing looked a whole lot better than being a busboy!
Gathering some courage, he asked the broker how to get into the real estate business and how to succeed at it. He began hanging around these people and his life was wondrously transformed.
