Valerie and I just visited with some new Nikken friends at their home. Over the last ten years of her life, Evalee was in and out of a wheelchair and had a difficult time even getting out of bed in the morning. She was in the kitchen hanging new cabinets and was actually sitting on top of their fridge to reach the ceiling with a paint roller. Since Nikken she is now a much different lady!
The newest Costco magazine is full of health articles and states that 50% of our population is in pain. (We have a large market opportunity!) Every time I see a new person experience a Nikken miracle I think about our important mission for everyone to have an opportunity to have a Wellness Home!
The definition of health care is “the maintenance or restoration of health.” But our healthcare system is not about maintaining or restoring health – it’s about managing the symptoms of disease. This is disease care, not health care! Managing the symptoms of disease does not prevent or cure disease. Whenever there is a problem, there is an opportunity. The bigger the problem, the greater the opportunity. Our world is in the grip of a rapidly accelerating prevalence of chronic disease. Every time I witness the positive transformation occur when one experiences Nikken, it confirms for me that when we scale our business up and compound the many benefits, the world will be better. This is a most worthy cause, be bold, choose to work hard. Together let’s all play full out and launch a Wellness Revolution!
