Thinking some High-Level Thoughts

“Everyone holds his fortune in his own hands, like a sculptor the raw material he will fashion into a figure. But it’s the same with that type of artistic activity as with all others: We are merely born with the capability to do it. The skill to mold the material into what we want must be learned and attentively cultivated.” —Goethe

Mastery, by Robert Greene, is a fantastic book about sculpting your mind and your life in the pursuit of mastery. Becoming your best in a craft, of emulating the very best people in all fields of activity; about those people who Shape the World.

There exists a form of power and intelligence that represents the High Point of all Human Potential and great achievement.

While this is not taught in our schools, most all of us have had glimpses of this heightened awareness and power when we work intensely on an important endeavor. Our minds become completely absorbed in the task before us, and we feel unusually energized and focused as ideas seem to come to us out of nowhere.

At these times, other people may be moved by our influence. Perhaps we are more attentive towards them, or we appear to have a special power that inspires their esteem; even at a distance, they may see and feel this presence.

We may normally experience life in a passive mode…but for these days or weeks we feel like we can determine events and make things happen.

We force ourselves to step outside our inner chamber of habitual thoughts and connect to the world, to other people, to reality. Instead of flitting here and there in a state of perpetual distraction, our minds focus and penetrate to the core of something real. In these moments it is as if our minds are now flooded with light…of new details and ideas. We become more inspired and creative.

Once the deadline has passed or the crisis is over, this feeling of power and heightened creativity fades away. We return to our distracted state…and the power is gone.

If we could only manufacture this feeling, or somehow keep it alive longer! It all seems so mysterious and elusive. The great masters in all fields experience these powers over long periods of time…it becomes their way of life, their way of seeing the world!

(all the above taken from Mastery, by Robert Greene)

People who are not committed to what they do live very empty lives. Each of us has to know that what we do counts; that it makes a difference. Is there something already in you that needs to be reawakened?

Meaning is the foundation of our existence. Meaningless work destroys the soul. There not much worse than doing something that you feel doesn’t really matter. We should strive to become really good at something that matters.

Our individual responsibility: Find something to do that makes a difference, a Magnificent Obsession! Do you believe in destiny? YOU – by simply reading this – is a strong indication that you are a person capable of this ‘Heightened Power of Human Potential.’ If you care deeply enough about something. When your desires are strong enough you will appear to possess superhuman powers to achieve.

Self-Care Advocate, Dr. Gary Lindner has eloquently described the seriousness of our national health crises. We may say that our healthcare system deserves an A in the areas of trauma and crisis-intervention, but an F or possibly a D would be the appropriate grade in realms of chronic or degenerative disease.

Gary sites the frightening statistic that 55% of our population are taking an average of four different prescription drugs. Pharmaceutical companies are doubling down on their advertisements about ‘ask your doctor’ if you should be taking their drug, all while attempting to minimize the terrible side-effects with a fast-spoken disclaimer. It would seem they want us to buy their drugs!

We are already the most over-medicated nation on the planet. What would be the state of health if the whole population were taking an average of 4 prescription meds? I can’t imagine this resulting in a positive outcome.

Healthcare is already the third leading cause of death, please consider the many people, who although not dead…yet are not vibrantly healthy either. And they might not become healthier when prescribed yet another drug to alleviate the side-effects of an earlier prescribed drug.

Think about the many people you personally know who have received great benefit from Nikken’s products. What would be the state of health for those 55% of the population using four prescription meds, if instead they had four Nikken products? Also think about the most serious side-effects encountered by someone using Nikken. Not much…pretty safe stuff!

Our unwavering vision is for every home to be a Nikken Wellness Home!

You are the average of the five people you most associate with. You are a product of your environment. If you consciously and consistently apply this Proximity Principal, you will never want for opportunity!   In order to do what you want to do, you’ve got to be around people that are doing it, you’ve got to be in the places where it’s happening. Hang around people who you admire, people who are winning in your space, people who will push you and keep you accountable.  Be in places where you can observe and learn, places where you can practice and perform.

     Let’s go for it!
