Nikken attracts discerning customers who read and  understand labels,  and label-readers are going to fall in love with this product!

MCTs!

MCTs remain the number two ingredient of Kenzen Vital Balance formula.
Did you know that MCTs are an established medical treatment for certain health disorders?  As example, it’s been used to feed premature babies and to treat children with epilepsy for decades.  It’s administered to Alzheimer’s patients in the form of a ‘medical food’ called Axona.  MCT’s also produce Ketones even without being part of a low carbohydrate diet.

Our MCTs are extracted from Palm Kernel Oil, and our source is a family-owned plantation that uses organic processes, even if they don’t qualify for the USDA approval. Especially important, we don’t buy from plantations grown in burned down Amazon forests!  Nikken is pleased to support a responsibly-grown and ecologically sustainable source.

NOW – What’s New?

Organic Moringa Leaf powder!

Moringa is used for ‘tired blood’ (Anemia); Arthritis and other joint pain (Rheumatism); Asthma; cancer; constipation; Diabetes; diarrhea; Epilepsy; stomach pain; stomach and intestinal ulcers; intestinal spasms; headache; heart problems; high blood pressure; kidney stones; fluid retention; thyroid disorders; and bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic infections.

Moringa is also used to reduce swelling, increase sex drive (as an aphrodisiac), boost the immune system, and increase breast milk production. Some people use it as a nutritional supplement or tonic.

Another new ingredient to KVB is Monk fruit powder, which contains unique polysaccharides known as Mogrosides. These offer a satisfying sweet taste and yet contain no calories, and they have no effect on blood sugar or insulin levels.

Additional claimed health benefits of the Monk fruit are its high-antioxidant potential to fight free radicals. It’s also a powerful anti-inflammatory. Scores of studies have proven an anti-carcinogenic effect. It combats infections, fights fatigue, and much more.

Who doesn’t want this in their diet?

Remaining in the formula is a bouquet of all organic super foods such as open-cell Chlorella, Cilantro, Alfalfa, Broccoli, Spinach, and Spirulina.   The probiotics are freeze-dried, stabilized, and microencapsulated with an enteric coating for maximum viability.  KVB contains multiple proteolytic enzymes.

We may have the most advanced and healthy shake available in the marketplace!

Over the many years I’ve been with Nikken, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some of our manufactures and even tour their facilities. One manufacturer said something I’ll always remember. He explained that invariably, the process for developing a product for a company included a dialogue something like this:

This is how much we want to spend, what kind of product can you make for us at a particular price.

He said it was a joy to work with Nikken as they would say, develop the very best product you can, and then we’ll discuss price!

Although this was a different manufacturer than the one producing our new Kenzen Vital Balance, the formulation reveals this same philosophy.

For comparison, let’s take a look at another Moringa-based MLM marketed shake.

Ingredients: Proprietary Blend (Whey Protein, Moringa Oleifera Blend (leaf powder, seed cake, fruit powder), Natural Flavors, Pure Cane Sugar, Fruit Pectin, Stevia.

Now that’s a pretty scant formula!

When I talk about KVB, I share how no one wants to be overweight. Our problem is that we’re all addicted to sugar.  KVB optimizes your brain chemistry, resetting your cravings. Often within a week you will be able to overcome sugar addiction.

When you look at their ingredient list, what jumps out at you?

PURE CANE SUGAR!

This would seem much like helping alcoholics overcome their addiction by using an alcohol-based supplement!

Also, note that it is NOT organic, pure cane sugar. Nor is the whey. Most whey comes from factory farms that use soy/GMO based feed and hormones.

The FDA requires listing ingredients in order of their dominance. You can sneak around this by grouping several ingredients together into a ‘proprietary blend’ and place them on the front of the ingredients. Now the consumer has no idea of the quantities that are actually in there.

The retail price of their shake is $125 for 32 servings; dealers often wholesale it on Amazon for around $75.  Our retail is $87.50 which is about $3 per meal. For only 3 dollars you are introducing a plethora of vital nutrients that are unlikely to be a part of the Standard American Diet.

Knowing about KVB, I would have a hard time choking down an overpriced, non-organic, table-sugar and whey-based shake!  Knowing about KVB, could you sell the other product to your mom?

It appears the retail price and low-cost ingredients are designed to create a business model centered around the compensation plan rather than based upon value for real customers.

Here is a sad thought on the state of the supplement industry:

Years ago, I became a devotee of Dr. Jeffrey Bland. I was shocked when he talked about personal experiences such as purchasing several brands of vitamin E capsules, and going back to his lab to assay them. It was disappointing to discover that many products had no vitamin E activity. They were simply encapsulated vegetable oil.

More recently, perhaps you saw the scandal involving GNC, Target, Walmart, and Walgreens. It was discovered that their own store brand supplements contained only inert filler!  Many ‘supplements’ contained no trace whatsoever of the stated active ingredient.  This was probably not intentional, they were likely contracting with the cheapest bidder.
